Restaurant Juvan is a family-owned business since 1968. All our dishes are prepared fresh exclusively by our chefs from local farm-grown produce. The restaurant offers the best of Slovenian and international cuisine and is based on seasonal ingredients. Part of our menu has not changed since our beginnings and represents the dishes we are most well-known for. Our specialties are: beef soup with noodles and homemade “žlinkrofi”, homemade aspic, roasted veal joint, veal steak with porcini mushroom and our famous walnut pancake.
During spring our menu is enriched with savoury asparagus dishes, cherry strudel and tarragon roll called “potica”. In the months of summer lots of dishes with porcini and yellow chanterelles are prepared, as well as famous stuffed peppers, apricot dumplings and apricot strudel. In the autumn you are welcome to try our roasted goose or duck with red cabbage and to sweeten your tooth with a delicious chestnut slice. Various types of tasty sausages are served in winter to all meat lovers.
Our restaurant disposes of 3 nice guest-rooms with all together 70 seats. During warmers months we are also happy to serve your with meals outside in the shade of an old chestnut tree. Your car can be parked on the restaurant’s own parking place.
